Lazo Tables

Designed by Caterina Moretti & Melissa Aldrete and crafted by Peca in Mexico City.

The Lazo Tables are defined by the whims of fire and the careful craftsmanship that shaped them. Their bases are made from terracotta modeled using the ancient hand-coiling pottery technique and then sprinkled with a bronze powder that turns metallic in the kiln. The elegant texture of the table top is the result of the Japanese shou sugi ban method, which preserves the wood and highlights the unique character of its grain by exposing it to a flame.
