Slinky Armchair

Designed by Sofía Campos and crafted by Bibi Bibi in Mexico City.

The Slinky Collection was inspired by a moment of playfulness with a slinky toy, exploring the idea of continuous form, rhythm, and proportion in furniture design. The intention was to create a piece that felt distinct within the Mexican market at the time, something sculptural yet refined, with a strong visual identity that remains coherent across different scales.
From a single armchair to extended modular compositions, the design maintains its proportions and sense of balance, always appearing cohesive, comfortable, and visually light. Its character is deeply influenced by materiality, with upholstery choice playing a key role in defining its final expression. Referencing a subtle 1960s sensibility while remaining firmly contemporary, the Slinky Collection is designed to integrate seamlessly into diverse interiors with mixed aesthetics, adapting effortlessly to both residential and hospitality spaces.
