Fragua Desk

Designed and crafted by Siete in Mexico City.

Fragua desk manifests a sense of equilibrium, formed by two stainless steel plinths and a thin travertine top unifying the monolithic architecture of the piece; it embodies a minimalist and brutalist approach to its geometric composition.

Named after the word “Fragua” which in Spanish means forge; a heritage of traditional metallurgical crafts. Inspired by an observational study on the relationship between earth and fire, we envision Fragua as a portal where materials transcend into sculpture through fire and artisanship."
